That is why everything that can at least partially improve their sleep, ensure proper nutrition, and create more favorable conditions is extremely important.
One of the main factors that influence the effectiveness of the military at the front is healthy sleep. Sleep disturbances due to stressful conditions and an unfavorable environment have a negative impact on the physical and psychological state, and this, in turn, can reduce the level of attention and concentration, and increase the risk of making fatal mistakes.
Therefore, in the subcategory “Sleep, warmth and comfort,” we pay a lot of attention to sleeping bags and sleeping mats – the two main items necessary to arrange a place for sleeping in the field.
In this subcategory, you will find all the necessary information about heating dugouts with a potbelly stove and individual warming with heaters (heating pads). In the cold season, the issue of heating is more pressing than ever because cold can cause illness and even death from hypothermia.
The second sub-category, “Food and water”, does not refer to food products themselves because providing soldiers with food in adequate quantities is one of the main priorities of the Armed Forces.
