Summer clothing is a part of the army’s equipment worn by soldiers in the summer during the off-season, and when it is warm in fall and spring. It is the basis of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s army uniform, which no soldier or officer can do without. The vast majority of summer wear components must be covered with verified camouflage (pixel, varan, MTP).
The main criteria for selecting summer clothing items for the military:
- Compliance with the time of year. This indicator is almost decisive when choosing army summer clothing, due to the high temperatures and abundance of sunshine in summer. The materials used to make the clothing should allow the soldier’s body to “breathe” andshould not cause any dermatological irritations that often occur in summer. At the same time, the fabric must be able to withstand intense loads while performing tasks in the field ( should not tear, split, or burn). At the same time, every soldier’s kit should include a summer windproof jacket in case of heavy rain. In this case, it is very important to pay attention to the water-repellent properties of the material.
- Quality level. It is very important to pay attention to the strength of materials and their resistance to intense wear and tear. Practice shows that a set of clothes wears out much faster in combat missions, so the better the materials used for sewing, the longer the clothes will last.
- Size. It is important to choose the right size based on the product’s size guide. It may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. It is worth having measurements of the military (height, chest and shoulder girth) if you are not sure whether the conditional tunic will fit or not.
