Fleece 100/200

The fleece army jacket (thin) is an essential attribute of a soldier’s army clothing kit, used by all military personnel, regardless of the type of military service and the nature of the task. This product is worn by soldiers in the field conditions during the warm or demi-seasonal period of the year. The jacket can be worn as an outer layer of clothing (nighttime in summer, warm fall) or as an insulating lining, for example, for the wind and waterproof jacket.

A fleece jacket has many advantages due to the versatility of the fabric:

All these features are highly valued by the military as they provide additional comfort, which one can never have enough of in the field conditions.

Often on websites where you can buy thin fleece jackets, they are labeled with the numbers 100 or 200. These numbers indicate the density of the fleece fabric, i.e., 100 g/m and 200 g/m, respectively. There are also fleece jackets with a density of 300 g/m, designed for wintertime with low temperatures. Such jackets are thicker, so if you are looking for a fleece jacket for a soldier for a warm or demi-seasonal period, consider these indicators so as not to confuse the type of jacket and buy something that is not needed.

Most fleece jackets are equipped with a zip that runs from the chest to the collar. There are also versions of jackets with a zip from the waist to the collar, so you should ask the soldier which model suits him. These products can also differ in the presence of finger slits on the sleeves, side and arm pockets, and velcro panels.

The color range of the jackets is standard: these are either tactical solid colors (khaki, coyote, olive) or camouflage (MM14, MTP, flecktarn)

The size guide has no special features. In most cases, these are standard XS-XL and Ukrainian 46-56. Less common are the sizes of the British Armed Forces, for example, 180/100, where 180 is the approximate height and 100 is the chest size, so it is important to have the military’s measurements available.
