The functionality of the backpack bag is explained with its name. Large in volume, it is made for convenient movement of personal belongings of a serviceman. At the same time, things can be stored in more order than in a conventional top-loading backpack. That is, it combines the comfort of a travel bag with the ergonomics of a backpack. The bag has a large main compartment with a zipper and several different pockets. In addition, unlike a backpack or trunk backpack, a bag has a more rigid design that allows things to be stored more intact. To do this, the bottom and walls of the backpack-bag have a soft lining. Of course, for a military, you need to select bags made of durable water-repellent material.
Typically, such a bag is equipped with a set of removable shoulder straps (which allows you to carry the bag on your back, like a large backpack), while the kit also includes a wide transport strap on carabiners for carrying it on your shoulder. In this case, the straps can be unfastened and hidden in a special pocket between the back and the main compartment.
