The windproof and waterproof suit is used by the military as an outer protective layer in cold conditions (wind, moisture, snow, rain). The clothing must protect the soldier in conditions of strong winds or cold, which is a priority criterion when choosing a suit. The vast majority of wind and waterproof suits are made of Ripstop fabric, which is characterized by increased wear resistance and protection against mechanical damage. The jackets have adjustable sleeves, waist, and hood. The proportion of materials used to make these suits is usually 50% cotton and 50% polyester.
