The Helikon Cobra (FC45) belt is highly regarded by the military for its practicality (functionality) and reliability in use. In most cases, this is due to the high-tech materials the belt is made of.
The fittings and design of the belt are made in such a way that it can be used as a regular or tactical belt, and even as the basis of a small BSS (belt and shoulder system). The basis of the belt structure is a quick-release aluminum buckle and a wide braided nylon sling. The width of the sling is 45 mm, and its thickness is 2 mm. Although the belt sling is made of nylon, it is extraordinarily strong and does not twist under a load. The total weight of the product is 190 g, which is an advantage because it is especially important for military men to wear items of the lightest weight possible.
The product was tested for hunting, and shooting, as a basis for various variants of BSS, including with the addition of a modular belt platform and shoulder straps, and also with the fastening of various waist pouches. Note that the use of a belt in BSS is desirable only when combined with an additional belt extender.
The belt buckle is made of aluminum, strong enough, and fixed securely. The advantage of the belt is that, if necessary, it can be quickly fastened and unfastened with one hand. The thickness of the buckle is 10 mm. It does not cause additional discomfort during movement or bending.
