The magazine pouch is designed to accommodate and carry magazines with ammunition or used magazines.
A high-quality pouch has drainage openings at the bottom of the pocket and large “ears”, which allows the soldier to act as quickly as possible. In combat, when reloading, a split of a second can make all the difference.
The pouch can be made of plastic or fabric, and it is tightened with side elastic bands that provide a secure fix. The magazine does not fall out, and it is easy for the soldier to get it out if necessary.
Attachment to a belt, body armor or any unloading system is usually done using universal Molly or Velcro systems.
The fabric should be non-flammable, and resistant to mechanical damage and natural factors. Pouches are made of synthetic fabrics as well as leather and tarpaulin.
The best and most durable fabric for it is Cordura 1000 D.
The pouches may be:
Available in colors: multicam, khaki, olive, coyote, pixel, black.
