Army tablets require display sizes of 8.7-11 inches. The smaller display makes the tablet inefficient. Larger tablets are only needed for specific tasks and are expensive.
High brightness and contrast of displays are important because tablets should be readable on a sunny day. Routine tasks that are usually solved by the Armed Forces do not require a high-power tablet processor. Therefore, there is no need to use expensive game models in most cases.
Usually, tablets receive Internet from Wi-Fi routers, 3G modems, smartphones of military personnel or Starlink. Tablets with a built-in SIM card are more expensive, so we recommend using them in the absence of other means of Internet communication and when reliable mobile communication is available.
The larger the battery capacity of the tablet is, the longer the device’s operating time without recharging is. The tablet must work stably and reliably, failures during combat work are unacceptable! Cheap tablets made by little-known manufacturers repeatedly failed the military during the war.
