Pinguin Safari PFM is an amazingly comfortable sleeping bag for resting in the field. Due to the special configuration (rectangular shape and long zipper), the sleeping bag can easily be turned into a large blanket, which will protect against overheating on very warm nights or, for example, will allow additional warmth while staying on the post in the cold weather. The hood available with this model will warm the soldier at low temperatures.
The zipper mechanism is closed with a softened valve, so it does not blow through, and you do not feel discomfort when lying on it.
The material of the top layer is waterproof and reliably protects against dew or high humidity. In addition, the sleeping bag has loops by which it can be hung to dry.
The compression bag in which this sleeping bag is sold allows you to reduce it to a size of 22×38/24 cm, which at a weight of 1.6 kg, makes it easy to carry it over short distances. For long raids, it is better to purchase another model that will take up less room but will also provide less comfort.
Remember that no sleeping bag can protect against heat loss on cold surfaces. To effectively protect the military from the cold, a karimat (sleeping mat) or another insulating layer should always be placed under the sleeping bag.
